The Town of Henlopen Acres is in the process of completing a ten-year update to its Comprehensive Plan as required by Title 22, Chapter 7, and Title 29, Chapter 91 of the Delaware Code. The goal of the Comprehensive Plan is to provide the Town’s decision-makers with a vision for the future and identify actions to be taken to realize that vision.
Topics discussed in the Plan include, but are not limited to, community character, land use, infrastructure, and historical and natural resources.
An important part of the planning process is soliciting and receiving public participation and input. As such, all residents and property owners are encouraged to review the draft Plan and provide comments.
Comments may be submitted in writing to planning@henlopenacres.com or during the public hearing. Please see below for virtual meeting instructions.
The 2024 Comprehensive Plan draft is available at the link below. Physical copies are also available at Town Hall, Monday through Friday, 9am to 4:30pm, excluding holidays.
