July 4th Fireworks

This year vehicles entering Rehoboth to view the fireworks will be directed to Gordon’s Pond State Park parking area to view the fireworks.
Henlopen Acres residents and guests:
For those attending the function at the Beach Club or wishing to view the fireworks on the beach; the road crossings at Tidewaters and Rolling Road will be manned by a Security patrolman beginning at 6:00 pm. to assist with those crossing Dune Way. The town has arranged for portable lighting to illuminate the crossing area from dusk until vehicle and foot traffic dissipates from the Beach Club party and at Rolling Road until the foot traffic dissipates after the fireworks.
A security patrolman will be in one security vehicle on regular patrol duty. The security supervisor will also be on patrol to respond to incidents as needed.
Fire and ambulance will be stationed at Deauville Beach to respond to emergencies in Henlopen Acres/North Shores/Gordon’s Pond area. Henlopen Acres marina area is designated as a landing site for Medi-Vac helicopter.
Henlopen Acres residents and guests are encouraged to walk or bike to the beach. If you park in the first block of Tidewaters, Rolling Road or Pine Reach, please park off of the road and make sure you have a parking sticker or parking pass otherwise you may be ticketed.
